Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events including the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition.
Creative and performing arts
Our dance, art and music programs encourage students to be creative, confident and expressive. Students can take part in a variety of performance opportunities, including our strings ensemble, dance group, and participation in events such as Symphonia Jubilate, the Festival of Instrumental Music, and Gimbawali. The school also proudly hosts its own art shows and performing arts showcases, celebrating the creativity and talent of our students.
Sport
Our sport programs help students stay active, develop teamwork and build school spirit. At Enfield Public School, students can take part in PSSA summer and winter competitions, as well as zone and regional carnivals in cross country, swimming and athletics. We also offer opportunities for representation across a variety of sports, encouraging all students to participate, challenge themselves and enjoy being part of an active school community.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world around them. Students also have the opportunity to participate in school camps, where they further develop independence, teamwork and lifelong memories through hands-on learning experiences.
